Offered through Outpatient Services, Moab Regional Hospital has a dedicated wound care department, staffed by two full-time certified wound care nurses. Our specially trained nurses treat wounds that require extra care in order to heal. They clean and dress the wound and educate patients and their families on the best methods to care for wounds at home.
MRH is equipped to treat a variety of wounds:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Venous stasis ulcers
- Post-operative wounds and traumatic injuries
Some treatments offered include:
- “Wound Vac” therapy
- Compression wraps
- Other specialized wound care
