Cardiopulmonary Services

Cardiopulmonary refers to the health of the heart and lungs and how the health of these organs contribute to health and wellness. Cardiopulmonary services are generally referred by a provider. These services can help patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pneumonia, other respiratory conditions, heart disease, and other conditions that are effected by blood oxygen levels.

Procedures offered in this department include:

  • Pulmonary Function Tests
  • Cardiac Stress Tests
  • Cardiac Event Monitors
  • Holter Monitors
  • ECHO Stress Test- partnering with St. Mary’s in Grand Junction
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)- available as walk-in any day of the week 8AM-5PM
  • Ventilators
  • Vapotherm
  • Continuous positive airway pressure therapy (CPAP) / Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP)

The Respiratory Therapists in the Cardiopulmonary Department work with Out-patient Services, the Emergency Department, and the Medical/Surgery Department to provide cardiopulmonary testing to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
